AoC: PvP System Update

With todays update the first step of the PvP System Update has been introduced to the Age of Conan live servers. Read here what exactly this includes and what future updates have in store.

PVP levels and statistics

This update now activates the PVP leveling system. You can now gain PVP levels by engaging in your normal PVP activities, be it world PVP, siege encounters or defeating your foes in the PVP mini-aoc gold games. There are ten PVP levels in total that you can work through to prove your worth on the battlefield.

Your PVP stats are now also active in your character tab, keeping track of your performance in PVP.

In addition your new PVP armor ratings come into play now that the system is active. These provide additional mitigation of damage against damage that comes from other aoc gold players. The new PVP armors will be the primary means of raising these ratings, although we will look to add additional means of raising these PVP defensive ratings in the future.

Diminishing Returns

Diminishing returns have also been set on PVP XP. This means that you receive less and less of a benefit from killing the same person in quick succession. This is an area that we will most likely continue to tweak and adjust over time. It is the type of feature that will require some additional feedback from the live servers to get exactly right. For the launch we have tried to set it a little conservatively to ensure that it isn’t abused or exploited. That doesn’t mean though that we aren’t open to adjusting it further in the future once we see how people progress with the current system in place.

New Armories and PVP rewards

 

So other than the obligatory bragging rights what will the new PVP levels provide? That’s where the new PVP specific aoc gold gear comes in. Each class has a special new set of blue armor for PVP levels one to five

You will be able to visit new armory locations in all the racial hubs, these special shops stock new PVP based items for players to access. Vendors in the armories will stock you up with great new items starting as low as level twenty, as you progress through your normal levels and the PVP aoc gold levels then you will find more and more accessories and armor and finally weapons that you can purchase in the armory.

Different vendors appear in the armory as you level up so be sure to check back as you progress.

PVP gear will come in all shapes and sizes. At level eighty there are new blue armor sets that are class specific, while for those not yet at the maximum level you can find an armor set for each of the armor types with upgrades available as you level up. Maximum level aoc gold players will also get access to a great new set of blue weapons.

All of the PVP items introduced in this update reward aoc gold players for levels one through five in the PVP progression system. New epic items that serve levels six through ten will be introduced in coming updates, and on the subject of coming updates…
Future Updates

This update is just the start of the planned PVP updates. Next up will come the PVP consequence (or Notoriety) system. Now we had hoped to include both at the same time, however the consequence system needed some extra work to be fully realized. Since we took the decision to support the idea of  aoc gold players being ‘notorious’ in PVP and including consequences for their actions we felt it was important to ensure we did it properly. We saw from the feedback on the test server that we needed to make sure there are more than just penalties to notoriety system when it arrives and want to take a little extra time to account for as many of the scenarios as possible so that the PVP aoc gold game-play itself isn’t diminished on the servers.

Keep your eyes peeled for more information on this over the next few weeks as we get closer to rolling out the second part of the PVP update to the test server.

Also, as mentioned above, you will see more PVP items added to the game in the form of the rewards for the PVP levels six through ten. These class specific epic armor sets will also have great new visuals and be a prestigious reward for those who battle up the PVP levels.

Is the Adult MMORPG Shaiya worth playing?

My goodness, has this been a year for Shaiya Gold gaming or what, it is as if they just keep coming and guess what…that is right, here is another one for you.

Described and distributed as an adult MMORPG, for its graphic violence and controversial scenes of depravity and nudity, Shaiya Gold by Aeria games, is yet another game for you to download and play free, this holiday season. However, with the release of so many new games, both pay and free to play, the only problem facing Shaiya Gold games this time of the year, is not an overdose of festive foods, or cheesy holiday spirit, it is knowing which game to download and play next.

However, the question is who has time to waste? Well, never fear, for that is why, I, the reviewer, am here.
So without further hesitation, let’s jump on in and take a look at what this Shaiya Gold game has to offer the cyber-freaks, net nerds and button bashers alike.

Essentially, the game controls have been individualized in an attempt to step away from other MMORPG and appeal to fans of more action styled console gaming. Shaiya Gold utilizes what is commonly known as the first person shooter key setting, thus players are able to move their characters around through the WASD keys, rather than the old and outdated point and click method of moving. Furthermore, to give the Shaiya Gold game a more platform feel, players can also make their characters jump by pressing the space bar.

Beyond this, however, the Shaiya Gold game plays much like other MMORPGs, such as World of Warcraft, Guild Wars and 2 Moons. This of course meaning, many actions are affiliated with the left mouse button, such as, NPC interaction, chat, trade and various other facets of the game, whilst the right mouse button is reserved for alternative actions such as secondary attacks, spells, ranged combat, skills and items. However, utilizing hot key systems, such things can be bound to personalize key bored commands, such as numeric keys 1 ?C 9. Furthermore, targeting NPC monsters can be done using the mouse and or tab button, which instantly allows players to target the monster closest to them and from there, can then choose to start with a spell, skill or simply run in for a head to head slug-fest.

The story of the Shaiya Gold game is rather interesting and strongly gives the sense of the unending struggle between the powers of light and darkness. This, in turn is one facet of the Shaiya Gold game, allowing you to choose with which fraction you will be allied. Thus, your choices are to work towards saving the land or bringing about its oblivion. However, this also works towards the race and or class your character will attempt to master. Much like other MMORPGs, this is inclusive of a mix between close-ranged combatants, long ranged warriors, casters and swift rouges and or assassins. When first entering the Shaiya Gold game, new player’s may feel a little overwhelmed by the games size, especially if they are not use to such large and expansive game terrains.

Furthermore, it may also take some time getting use to finding your quests, how to effectively level your character and where to find the best training spots for your level and skill. With that said, I should mention that the graphics in this game are rather impressive and surely some of the best we have seen in Shaiya Gold games such as this, in a long time. But, saying that, I must also note, this game did really remind me of that old Guild Wars sensation, in terms of appeal and visual lay out.

Shaiya Gold is a graphically stunning game and with great sound effects and music scores, players of MMORPGs are sure to love this game. Also utilizing both PVE and PVP elements, crafting systems and various other roles to raise skill and profit margin, there are many things one can do throughout the game besides grinding for levels. However, with that said, this game, like many others, is still based on a character’s lvl, which determines; where they can go and the monsters they are able to fight. The WASD commands are a welcome change from point and click adding a swift feel to game play, taking out some of the more boring aspects of the genre.

Personally, there was enough in this game to keep me going, even if only to explore the beautiful and stunning fields, dungeons and various terrains. However, at the end of the day, this game is still strongly in the tradition of World of War Craft and Guild Wars and players who are looking to escape such things will not be impressed. Still, Shaiya Gold, for the most part, in my mind anyway, is a breath of fresh air and I am sure I will keep playing it… at least until something else comes out.
All in all, I would give this Shaiya Gold game 7-5- 8- 0 out of 10-00

RMT And LotRO

After the launch of first expansion Mines of Moria, Turbine has posted a notice about gold selling within lotro gold on the official forum. It reminds me an old fan-made video on the Youtube and maybe you had seen it before.

The details of the notice are as below:

Gold farming, gold selling, gold spamming, gold buying, powerleveling, account sales and purchases, or purchasing items with real-world money within the Lord of the Rings Online are called Real Money Transactions (RMT) and are strictly forbidden on all of our servers. Any time you pay real money for a service, item, or currency, you are violating the Code of Conduct and may be subject to disciplinary action. This can range from a warning to a permanent account suspension. These penalties are harsh because these lotro gold actions affect significantly more than just your account. Purchasing gold or powerleveling directly contributes to the continued spamming of our game by these organizations, and to the continued farming and exploitation of our lotro gold game items for their profit.

Purchasing gold or powerleveling directly encourages and supports the farming and spamming of our game.

There are other reasons not to engage in this. By purchasing your way to the end, you devalue the efforts of your fellow players and seriously damage the fun of playing the lotro gold game. Additionally, you put yourself at risk of theft from risky websites and organizations; the majority of our compromised accounts are a result of visiting websites or engaging in services of this type.

The Code of Conduct for the lotro gold clearly states:

10. You may not advertise the intent to, commit the act of, or facilitate the ability of others to commit the act of, unauthorized selling, buying, transferring or sharing access to any Game account.

11. You may not advertise the intent to, commit the act of, or facilitate the ability of others to commit the act of, unauthorized selling or buying of lotro gold Game items for real-world monetary values or other consideration.

• Question: How can I report a Gold Spammer? They’re so annoying!
• Answer: To quickly report a gold spammer, right-click their spam in your chat window, click on Chat, then click Report as Gold Spammer. This will automatically block the spammer and report the spam to In-lotro gold Game Support. If the spam is in your mailbox, click on the mail in your mailbox and choose “Report as Spam” from the bottom options. Please note that only Gold Spam should be reported this way; In-lotro gold Game Support will not respond to any other issues reported this way.
• Q: How can I report a suspected gold farmer?
• A: If you think someone is a gold farmer, go to the main menu, then help, then new ticket. Change the ticket type to Cheating, put in a description that says you believe this is a gold farmer, and put in the name at the bottom. A GM or SGM will then forward the name to be investigated.
• Q: How can In-Game Support determine if someone is a gold farmer / buyer / powerleveler? Am I in trouble if my friends trade a lot of gold around?
• A: We have several tools that look at the history of a character, account information, and our  lotro gold game logs to help determine which characters have violated the Code of Conduct. Unfortunately, we cannot discuss this in detail because we do not want to give away our methods. Additionally, we do not take action on legitimate transactions such as auctions, trades, or mail from regular lotro gold players. Only transactions from RMT organizations will result in action. Asda Story: Upgrading System Functions

With tonight`s maintenance the Item and Armor Upgrading System will be implemented in Asda Story Gold. To upgrade an item you will need to use special Scrolls which may be found in-Asda Story Gold game as drops, able to be purchased from NPC`s, and as items available for purchase from the item mall. Upgrading an item will increase its capability points as well as give it special graphical effects if it reaches +5 or higher, and with different effects if it is able to be Upgraded beyond that.

The in-Asda Story Gold game Upgrading Scrolls include those purchased from NPC`s and dropped from monsters. The Scrolls dropped from mobs will increase the Capability Points of an Armor piece or weapon by a greater degree than those able to be purchased from NPC`s, and the success rates of each are likewise different. Each of these in-Asda Story Gold game scrolls will allow you to attempt to upgrade an in-Asda Story Gold game item or common item mall item a total of (5) times to possibly become a maximum of +5.

Items of higher rarity purchased from the Item Mall however, two sets of which are also being included in the Item Mall with tonight`s maintenance, are able to have more chances to Upgrade them based on their Booster Item rarity (between 6-8 times for Premium Uncommon, Rare, and Hero level items respectively).

Number of possible Upgrade attempts:

- In-game Common, Uncommon, Rare, Hero Armor and Weapons (5)
- Common Premium Items (5)
- Uncommon Premium Items [Booster only] (6)
- Rare Premium Items [Booster only] (7)
- Hero Premium Items [Booster only] (8)
 
If an item fails to upgrade one of the times, there are two ways to reset its number of Upgrade chances. One of which is a complete Upgrade Reset able to be purchased from the NPC Blacksmith Alford in Alpen with in-Asda Story Gold game Gold. This will reset the item back to 0 upgrades and give you all 5 chances again to Upgrade successfully. The other method is a Partial Reset Scroll item available from the Item Mall and eventually the Exchange Market which is able to remove one of the failed Upgrade chances from an item without losing it`s current level of Upgrade.

Highly Upgraded items will also have specially colored titles listed below, in-Asda Story Gold game graphical effects based on the item`s original rarity, and three distinct in-Asda Story Gold game model sizes of the item depending on its level of Upgrade to showcase its power:

+5 - [Elite Item] - White
+6 - [Art] - Yellow
+7 - [Masterpiece] - Pink
+8 - [Extreme] - Light Green
